Description
The TIP42C is a TO-220-compatible PNP general-purpose transistor. TIP42, TIP42A, TIP42B, and TIP42C are the part numbers for the four various varieties of this transistor. The fundamental distinction between these components is their voltage. TIP42C has the greatest load voltage of all the TIPs. It can be used for a variety of general-purpose switching needs. It has a maximum load voltage of -100V and can drive a maximum load of -6A or -6000mA.
Additionally, it can be utilized for any type of general amplification. The transistor's maximum collector dissipation is 65 watt, allowing it to be employed in high-power audio amplification and audio amplifier stages.
