CAT3200HU2-GT3 Overview
Using the Tape & Reel (TR) package, this voltage regulator optimizes the performance of the voltage regulator 12v. In this voltage regulator, there are a total of 8 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHED CAPACITOR CONVERTER ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the 8-UFDFN Exposed Pad package. A total of 1 outputs are configured in this voltage regulator. Adjustable (Fixed) outputs are generated on the output pins of this adjusting voltage regulator. The voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting hole. The operating temperature should be kept at -40°C~85°C TA when the voltage regulator 12v is in operation. A DC-DC switching regulator of this type operates at a switching frequency of 2MHz. The voltage regulator can operate with a dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 2.2V. According to the table below, DC DC switching regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 2.7V 5V. There is a maximum input voltage of 4.5V for this voltage regulator 12v. To meet the switching regulator operation requirements, a nominal input voltage of 3.6V is provided. In terms of category, this voltage regulator 12v falls into the Other Analog ICs category. In this case, the DC/DC regulator belongs to the family CAT3200. The adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage is maintain at 6V. During switching regulator operation, 8 pins are used. For this switching regulator, we recommend keeping the output voltage at at least 2.7V volts. The maximum output current reaches 100mA A to meet the switching regulator operation requirements. With a maximum output voltage of 6V, DC DC switching regulator has a very high efficiency. Adjusting voltage regulator reliable performance is ensured based on the minimal supply voltage of 2.7V V. A maximum supply voltage of 3V is required for adjusting voltage regulator to operate.
