LM258DG Overview
The linear amplifier is packaged in a 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. The instrumentation amplifier in this picture is of the General Purpose-type. A Tube case is used to deliver the buffer op amp. It is estimated that there will be 8 terminations in the next few months. In this case, there are 8 pins on the board. I would like you to keep in mind that this buffer amplifier needs to be run at a voltage of 5V. This particular linear amplifier is a type of Operational Amplifier device, to be precise. 8 pins are available on the instrumentation amplifier. In terms of the input offset voltage, instrumentation amplifier rates at 5mV. Surface Mount is the recommended mounting type of operational amplifiers. In terms of operating temperature, this instrumentation amplifier performs well at a temperature of about -25°C~85°C . The buffer amplifier is capable of operating from a supply current of 1.5mA .
