There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. The space-saving 28-PowerTSSOP (0.173, 4.40mm Width) package is available for this voltage regulator. There are 1 outputs configured on this voltage regulator 12v. This DC DC switching regulator generates Adjustable output on its output pins. Switching regulators like this one can be mounted on the Surface Mount mounting system. -40°C~85°C TA should be the operating temperature when voltage regulator is operating. This voltage regulator 12v reaches a switching frequency of 280kHz~700kHz. The regulator is capable of operating with a dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 3V. The output voltage (Min/Fixed) of this voltage regulator 12v is 0.9V. This voltage regulator's peak reflow temperature is so high as to make it virtually indestructible. For operation, switching regulator requires a nominal input voltage of 2.5V. As a member of the TPS54010 family of DC/DC regulators, this is a DC/DC regulator.
