AT91SAM7X512B-CU Description
Using the ARM7TDMI-S architecture, the Microchip Technology AT91SAM7X512B-CU is a 32-bit microcontroller unit (MCU). It has a high-performance, low-power processor core operating at up to 55 MHz, 512 KB of flash memory, 64 KB of SRAM, as well as a variety of peripheral devices and communication ports. The MCU is made for embedded applications that need a lot of connectivity choices, low power consumption, and high computational capability. In addition to ADCs, PWMs, and timers, it has a wide range of integrated peripherals, including UARTs, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN, and Ethernet interfaces.
AT91SAM7X512B-CU Features
Processor Core: High-performance, low-power processor core running at up to 55 MHz.
Memory: It has 512 KB of on-chip flash memory for program storage and 64 KB of SRAM for data storage.
Communication Interfaces: The MCU includes a range of communication interfaces, including two USARTs, two SPI ports, two I2C ports, and a USB device interface.
Connectivity: The MCU includes a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet MAC interface and a CAN interface for industrial communication.
Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC): The MCU has a 10-bit ADC with up to 16 channels for analog input.
Pulse Width Modulation (PWM): It has up to six PWM channels for controlling digital output.
Timers and Counters: The MCU includes four 16-bit timers/counters and a real-time clock (RTC) with calendar and alarm functions.
Debugging and Programming: The MCU supports in-system programming and debugging through a JTAG interface.
