The TPS3808 family of microprocessor supervisory circuits monitors system voltages from 0.4V to 5V and asserts the open-drain RESET signal when the SENSE voltage falls below a preset threshold or when the manual reset (MR) pin falls to a logic low level. efficient. The RESET output will remain low for a user-adjustable delay time when the SENSE voltage and the manual reset (MR) return value exceeds the corresponding threshold.
The TPS3808 device uses a precision voltage reference to achieve 0.5% threshold accuracy at VIT ≤3.3V. The reset delay time can be set to 20ms by disconnecting the CT pin; the reset delay time can be set to 300ms by connecting the CT pin to VDD using a resistor, or by connecting the CT pin to an external capacitor, the user can Adjust the reset delay time from 1.25ms to 10s. The TPS3808 device has an ultra-low typical quiescent current of 2.4µA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. It is available in SOT-23 and 2mm × 2mm WSON packages and is specified over the temperature range of –40°C to 125°C (TJ).
