MC36245 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. To ensure that the PTC thermistors operate at the minimum temperature, set the temperature to -40°C. There must be no temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to function. When operating, PTC thermistors could deliver a voltage of 16V. This is due to the fact that these thermistors have been rated for voltages of 16V in DC circuits. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 300mW heat.
