MAX389CPN+ Overview
Due to its 18-DIP (0.300, 7.62mm) packaging, the electronic part is convenient for international shipping. High reliability is ensured by the advanced packaging method Tube. In Through Hole, you'll find this switch device. There is 4:1 ratio between the number of multiplexers and demultiplexers. Operating temperature extended to 0°C~70°C TA. In total, 18 terminations have occurred. By its 4 channels, the electronic component provides high-quality output. It is safe to turn on and run the electronic component with a 15V voltage supply. This electrical component is included in the 18 series of products. Unlike digital switches, these are based on SP4T switching circuits. There are 2 circuits in this switch device. Try searching with MAX389 to find analog multiplexer variants. There is 3kOhm internal resistance in this digital multiplexer. To find out what the 18 pins do, please refer to the datasheets. Analogue multiplexers of the Dual supply type that are cost-effective. It would be sufficient to run this analogue multiplexer with 2mA current. For this multiplexer, dual supply voltage is feasible, but it should not exceed 18V. It is recommended that you attach at least 4.5V to your dual power supply. Operating voltages of 15V are compatible with the electrical part. Additional features include: FAULT PROTECTED; OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION.
