The linear amplifier is packaged in a 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. Buffer amps of this type are called General Purpose-types. Upon delivery, op amp ic is packaged in a Tape & Reel (TR) case. There is a growing number of terminations approaching the number of 8. There are a total of 8 pins on this op amp. Please take in mind that op amp should be run at 2.5V. I would like to specify that this buffer amplifier belongs to the Operational Amplifier-type of devices. 8 pins are available on the instrumentation amplifier.
