The LM301AN is a general-purpose operational amplifier that performs better than industry standards like the LM709. It enables the user to select the compensating capacitor that best suits his requirements. Summing amplifier slew rates of up to 10 V/s can be achieved with suitable correction. Overload protection on the input and output, no latch-up when the common-mode range is exceeded, and freedom from oscillations and compensation with a single 30 pF capacitor are just a few of the features that make the IC nearly faultless in its application. Its frequency compensation may be tailored to the application, giving it an edge over internally compensated amplifiers.
