L78S05CV Description
L78S05CV is a kind of 2 A three-terminal positive voltage regulator IC with several fixed output voltages, making it useful in a wide range of applications. Based on its local on-card regulation, it is able to eliminate the distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. It provides current limiting, short circuit, thermal shut-down, and safe area protection when operating. Moreover, the L78S05CV circuit can also be used to obtain adjustable voltages and currents with external components. More information can be found in the L78S05CV datasheet.
