L6470HTR is a kind of fully integrated microstepping motor driver with motion engine and SPI, which are manufactured by STMicroelectronics to drive two-phase bipolar stepper motors with microstepping. In its unique control system, a dual low RDS(on) DMOS full bridge is integrated with all of the power switches, all of which are equipped with an accurate onchip current sensing circuitry suitable for non-dissipative current control and overcurrent protection. As a result, it achieves a true 1/128 steps resolution.
