You can find the functions of the 8 pins in the datasheets. Multiplexer or Switches is a typical switch device. It is generally not recommended to supply a voltage higher than 5.5V to the switch device in normal circumstances. The analog switch ic is of the Single supply type and is cost-effective. There should be 2.7V voltage fed to the electrical part below 2.7V. A voltage of 2.7V~5.5V is required for this switch device, which drains from a single voltage source. If you put voltage higher than 500nA on the digital multiplexer, damage may occur. The analog switch ic utilizes SEPARATE OUTPUT outputs in total.
