DS1259S Overview
16-SOIC (0.295, 7.50mm Width) is the appropriate package for battery instrument. A system battery like this uses an analog IC named POWER SUPPLY SUPPORT CIRCUIT. There are currently 1 channels available. A Tube case holds it. Mount this electronic part using Surface Mount. This electronic component is mounted in the way of Surface Mount. The Power Management functions are available. For the electric part to perform effectively, it should operate at a temperature around 0°C~70°C TA. Keep in mind that this battery management IC should be set to 5V at all times. It is based on DS1259 family. Upon reaching 5.5V, the maximum supply voltage (Vsup) can be applied. Ideally, Vsup (supply voltage) should be greater than 4.5V. A voltage in the range of 3V is specified for this power management IC's operating supply voltage.
