Analog Devices Inc. AD590 Dual-Terminal IC Temperature Sensor

Analog Devices AD590 Dual-Terminal IC Temperature Sensors output current proportional to absolute temperature. The device operates as a high-impedance (>10MΩ), constant-current regulator with 1µA/K regulation over a 4V to 30V supply voltage range. The AD590 is a low cost monolithic integrated circuit and requires no support circuitry, making it ideal for many temperature measurement applications. The AD590 is suitable for any temperature sensing application below 150°C where conventional electrical temperature sensors are currently employed. Available in die form, the AD590 is suitable for mixed circuits and fast temperature measurements in protected environments.
