It is powered by a 5V volt supply. There is a maximum supply voltage of 5.25VV that can be handled by this clock divider. With the source voltage at 4.75V, it is possible to operate with a low voltage source. Keeping the supply voltage at 5V is the key to maximizing the efficiency of the system. The clock divider consumes 5μA quiescent current and is unaffected by external factors.
