The TPS549B22 device is a compact single-channel buck converter with adaptive on-time D-CAP3 mode control. The device is designed for high precision, high efficiency, fast transient response, ease of use, few external components and space constrained power systems.

The device features fully differential sensing and TI's integrated FETs with high-side on-resistance of 4.1mΩ and low-side on-resistance of 1.9mΩ. In addition, the device features 0.5% accuracy, a 0.9V reference voltage, and an ambient temperature range between –40°C and +125°C. Competitive advantages include: ultra-low external component count, precise load and line regulation, automatic frequency hopping or FCCM operation, and internal soft-start control.

The TPS549B22 device is available in a 7mm × 5mm, 40-pin, LQFN-CLIP (RVF) package (RoHs exempt).
