The type of analog IC that this voltage regulator is equipped with is SWITCHING REGULATOR. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the 24-SOIC (0.295, 7.50mm Width) package. There are 1 outputs configured on the voltage regulator. ICs such as this voltage regulator are capable of generating Adjustable outputs through their output pins. This voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting. In order for it to operate properly, dc to dc voltage regulator's operating temperature should be at -40°C~125°C TJ. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 90kHz. Input voltage 4.5V is the dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage required for operation of the voltage regulators. DC DC switching regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) amounts to 1.5V. Voltage regulator's input voltage can reach 18V. With its peak reflow temperature of 260, this voltage regulator is essentially indestructible. An input voltage of 15V is required to meet the requirements of the switching regulator operation.
