For optimal performance, this voltage regulator uses the Tube package. There are 7 terminations in this voltage regulator. A SWITCHING REGULATOR analog IC is used in this voltage regulator 12v, which is the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with. Due to DC DC switching regulator's space saving design, this voltage regulator is available in a TO-263-8, D2Pak (7 Leads + Tab), TO-263CA package. DC DC switching regulator is configured with 1 outputs. The adjusting voltage regulator generates Fixed output. Switching regulators like this one can be mounted on the Surface Mount mounting system. The operating temperature should be kept at -40°C~125°C TJ when the voltage regulator 12v is in operation. There is a switching frequency of 150kHz for this voltage regulator 12v. The voltage regulator can be operated with a voltage as low as 4.5V as an input voltage. It is evident from the table below that adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 5V.
