The linear amplifier is packaged in a 8-VSSOP, 8-MSOP (0.110, 2.80mm Width) case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. The instrumentation amplifier in this picture is of the General Purpose-type. A Tape & Reel (TR) case is used to deliver the buffer op amp. This particular linear amplifier is a type of Operational Amplifier device, to be precise. 8 pins are located on the operational amplifiers.
