There are two packages that contain fpga chips: 256-LBGA package and X package. In this kind of FPGA, FIELD PROGRAMMABLE GATE ARRAY is used. A total of 178 I/Os are programmed to ensure a more coherent data transfer. The supply voltage is 1.5V volts. Surface Mount-connectors can be used to attach this FPGA module to the development board. With a supply voltage of 1.425V~1.575V, this device operates with ease. There are many types of FPGAs in the ProASIC3 series, this is one of them.
