Microchip's PIC32CM LS60 Curiosity Pro will provide a seamless device-to-cloud integration experience.
The PIC32CM LS60 Curiosity Pro kit is ideal for evaluating and prototyping with the secure and ultra-low power PIC32CM LS60 ARM® Cortex®-M23 based microcontrollers. The MCU integrates TrustFLEX ECC608 secure subsystem & Arm® TrustZone® Technology in one package. Additionally it features enhanced peripheral touch controller (PTC) and smart analog such as Op Amps, ADC, DAC and Analog comparators.
It has Arduino Uno connector, microBUS socket and extension headers to expand the development. The kit includes an on-board Embedded Debugger, eliminating the need for external tools to program or debug. The kit also has Embedded current measurement XAM with Data Visualizer support for real-time power measurement.
The PIC32CM LS60 Curiosity Pro development board connects to the Internet using the MikroElektronika LTE IoT 2 Click board™ that allows connection to LTE networks, featuring Quectel's BG96 LTE module, which offers two LTE technologies aimed at Machine to Machine communication (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT). This module is an embedded IoT communication solution which supports the LTE Cat M1 and NB1 technologies, offering an alternative to similar Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) solutions, such as the ones provided by Sigfox and LoRa. The LTE CAT1 and NB1 technologies are designed with specific requirements of the IoT network in mind. LTE IoT 2 click also offers various other features, allowing simple and reliable connection to these new 3GPP IoT technologies. An IoT SIM card and right-angle GSM/GPRS antenna are also required for the LTE IoT 2 Click board.

The Microchip® PIC32CM LE00, PIC32CM LS00, and PIC32CM LS60 Curiosity Pro evaluation kits are hardware platforms for evaluating the PIC32CM LE00/LS00/LS60 microcontrollers (MCUs). Each evaluation kit is supported by the MPLAB® X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and MPLAB Harmony v3 featuring application examples.
The Curiosity Pro evaluation kits include an on-board embedded debugger to program or debug the target microcontroller. This enables an easy start to a project, and provides application examples that can be used in the design of a custom application.
The Curiosity Pro evaluation kits provide easy access to the features of the microcontroller, and are integrated with Arduino Uno, mikroBUS™, and extension headers to interface with Xplained Pro extension boards for a rapid prototyping and expanded functionality.
